Looks like Sony are giving a big push to the DCR-DVD7 DVD camcorder. The distinctive looking camcorder is all over the press and now there's TV ads too.
The DCR-DVD7 looks more like a CD Walkman that a conventional camcorder. I think that's why I thought it was larger than it really is. This Flash Movie on the Sony UK website shows how small the DCR-DVD7 camcorder really is.
And there's a nice 3D interactive animation so you can get a better idea of what the DCR-DVD7 is really like.
